Georgia Turner came to Tallahassee originally to attend Florida State University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. An entrepreneur with a wide range of interests and real passion for what she’s doing both at work and off, Georgia has been in sales and marketing and owned her own business since her return to Tallahassee in 1981. She holds the GRI, CRS and SFR professional designations, and attributes ongoing professional education as one of the keys to her success.
She raised 3 sons here – though they now live in Atlanta, Santa Monica and San Francisco giving her wonderful venues to visit! She is delighted by her 9 month old grandson and her Shih Tzu who goes by the name of Otis “Fluffy Britches” Turner – a puff ball of a dog that makes her laugh every day!
She in an animal lover who’s owned a variety of labs, german shepherds, a golden retriever and a horse. She’s invested in a healthy community and maintaining good health herself, so is a certified yoga instructor and gardens, cooks, hikes and kayaks in her “spare” time. A long-time fundraiser for the Tallahassee Memorial Foundation’s Sharon Ewing Walker Breast Care Center, she was part of the team responsible for bringing the first digital mammogram machine to Tallahassee. She actively supports our local Habitat for Humanity, Big Bend Second Harvest, is past Director of and current Secretary for the Tallahassee Board of Realtors, past board member of the Friends of the Library, a member of the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and active with BNI – Business Networking International’s leadership team.
She brings to the table a great eye for staging your home and works well with a wide variety of trades people that she can tap to get things done! Her past careers have included several years of selling television and radio advertising and have great marketing and advertising skills. Whether you are buying or selling residential or commercial real estate, you will be glad that you put her tough negotiating skills to work for you.
She truly enjoys helping people achieve the American Dream of owning their own home as well as finding real estate investments for people who already own their piece of the American Dream.
